Mr. Phillips leads music appreciation courses at the Royal Conservatory of Music and at the University of Toronto. He was associated with CBC Radio for 30 years. The music of Mahler has grown in popularity and impact. Through his music, he has struggled to understand the human soul and the meaning of death and life after death.
