Issues of Common Concern for Canadian Muslims & Jews
Rabbi Landsberg will be joined by Dr. Timothy Gianotti of the Noor Centre
Together they will look at the political landscape of today in which Muslim and Jewish
religious practices are under legal threat throughout the world.
Then they will look beyond politics to understand the history and spiritual/cultural meaning
of these practices to see where Jews and Muslims stand on such issues as
infant circumcision, ritual slaughter, marriage and modesty/dress.
