Temple Emanu-El

Israel

imageTemple Emanu-El supports a wide variety of activities aimed at strengthening our ties with Israel and Israelis, including:

  • Twinning with Kehilat Natan-Ya, a reform community in Netanya, Israel;
  • 50 for 60: Temple Emanu-El Anniversary Trip to Israel - In 2008 congregants travelled to Israel in May to celebrate Israel’s 60th anniversary (we were there for Yom Ha’atzmaut) and Temple Emanu-El’s 50th anniversary;
  • Israel Committee - This group of congregants meet regularly to discuss issues and plan events focused on strengthening our ties with Israel.
