Youth Groups
The Temple greatly values the participation of our younger members in youth group. The youth group is sub-divided by age group, with each division responsible for planning social and educational activities that not only enrich their Judaism but also deepen their involvement in Temple community life. Youth activities at Temple Emanu-El also provide children and teens with an outlet for social interaction within a Jewish framework.
FEISTEY is our Temple’s senior youth group for all High School aged youth. FEISTEY is part of NFTY, the URJ’s youth movement. Our region - NFTY-NEL (North East Lakes) - is comprised of Ottawa, Southern Ontario, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Erie (PA) and Cleveland.
