Post Pesach Challah Bake
And Sistering Mother's Day Gift Bag Program

Have fun with friends, learning how to make a 5-braided challah, a 6-braided challah, or even a key challah. We will also help our Social Action Committee with their Mother's Day Gift Bag program. Learn more, bring a friend, and register HERE before Monday at 5:00 pm.

This evening is for you, whether your skills would make Harbord Bakery jealous, or you're a total beginner and your only experience of challah is eating it! Light refreshments will be served. Registration required. Proceeds help fund programming and community support at Temple Emanu-El.

In addition to making challah, we will help make Mother’s Day brighter for at-risk, socially isolated women, trans people and newcomers who are homeless or precariously housed by assembling gift bags. Please bring any of the following items (or drop them off at the box in the lobby):

• body wash and soap
• shampoo and conditioner, hair dye, scrunchies
• body and face creams
• nail polish and makeup
• toothbrushes & paste
• NEW spring/summer socks
• NEW reusable water bottles (can have corporate, school logos etc.)
• Gift cards from Shoppers, Walmart, Dollarama or grocery stores (note: Please hand these to a member of the staff or clergy and do not leave them in the box in the lobby).

Earlybird rate: $36 by January 1st at 5:00 pm
Regular price: $45 Registration closes on January 8th at 5:00 pm.
You do not need to be logged in to register.
