I am Debra Landsberg, the rabbi of Temple Emanu-El. It is my pleasure to invite you to embark on a journey together, one of spiritual discovery and Jewish soulfulness. I welcome you to Temple Emanu-El, a bright, intimate, progressive community.

Over 60 years ago, this kehillah (congregation) was founded when two communities embraced each other in a common vision of spiritual nourishment and cultural inquiry, grounded upon the rock of allegiance to Israel and the Jewish people.

At Temple Emanu-El, we know that our differences make us stronger. We are committed to supporting each other in our Jewish journeys, whether raised in the Reform movement or being new to it. We are an inclusive community, welcoming interfaith families, LGBTQ, empty-nesters – – all those who enter our gates with an open heart are welcome. We seek to nurture the Jewish life of all who participate here, through study, prayer, acts of social justice and loving-kindness, in times of distress and in moments of joy.

I hope you come to call this congregation your home.
