Marry Me, However, tells the story of LGBT men and women who, for religious reasons, decided to marry against their own sexual orientation, to comply with Torah laws and be accepted into their families and religious communities.
Join A Wider Bridge, The Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Northwest, The East Bay International Jewish Film Festival, the Contra Costa JCC, and Eshel for a viewing of the trailblazing Israeli documentary Marry Me, However, and a conversation with the movie director, Rabbi Mordechai Vardi and with Avigail Sperber, the founder of Bat Kol - Religious Lesbian Organization, and Motti Salzberg, LGBTQ activist and former member of Eshel.
