by Musicologist, Lecturer and Musician, Dr. Mike Daley.

Dr. Mike Daley presents the life and music of the great songwriter Richard Rodgers
in this one-hour video lecture-concert. With Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein II,
he composed the songs for Oklahoma, South Pacific, The Sound of Music and The King and I,
which included such wonderful songs such as
"My Funny Valentine," "My Favorite Things,"  "The Lady is a Tramp," and other classics.
Mike will perform the songs and talk about his fascinating life story
augmented by visuals and "sing along" lyrics.

Dr. Daley holds a Ph.D. in Music from York University. He has taught undergraduate courses at several
Ontario Universities and courses for seniors at U. of T., Ryerson, George Brown and Glendon College.
He has also presented many lectures for the Temple Emanu- El Spring and Fall Lecture Series.
