Taste of My Home is an Israeli monthly cooking program with Mor Tarshish, our Shinshinit (Israeli Teen Emissary).

In honour of Yom Hazikron, Mor will show us how to make "Megulgalut Shockolad v'Halva" (Chocolate and Halva Roll), dedicated to Liav Aria, an Israeli fallen soldier.

Following the food preparation, Mor will share a presentation about the Nova Festival. Thousands of people were in attendance at this peaceful music festival when the massacre of October 7th occurred. Mor will focus on the story of three specific people from her hometown: Maya Regev, Itay Regev and Omer Shem Tov. Itay and Maya were released after 50+ days, but Omer is still being held hostage. 

All adults are welcome. Please register before Monday, May 13 at 5:00 pm. The $18 fee covers the cost of ingredients. Any surplus funds will go to Leket to help support food banks in Israel.
