NEW THIS YEAR! Children of members, up to age 30, are included on their parents' membership.
  • Children ages 13-30 will be formally issued a tickets in a different colour from their parents tickets.  Please indicate all children's names and ages who will be attending services
  • Prior to the Torah service (approximately 45 minutes into the service), Jenn Katz, Director of Education, will lead a concurrent program downstairs for children ages 7 to pre-B'nei Mitzvah.
  • A Small Fry serivce for children under age 7 will be held on the afternoons of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  Please consult your tickets for times of those services.
SECURITY

ue to the attacks on religious institutions around the world, culminating in the synagogue attacks in California and Pennsylvania, we will have heightened security on the High Holy Days.  Congregants and guests entering the grounds on foot or by vehicle will have their tickets checked and bags inspected--ladies' purses, tallit bags, etc.--as in the current practice at many other Jewish venues. 


RESERVED SEATING AND ACCESSIBLE PARKING

A limited number of seats will be reserved for those whose health requires special consideration. You must call the Temple office in advance to reserve.  You may also request ONE additional seat to be reserved for whoever is accompanying you.

A limited number of designated parking spots are available for those with a physical disability.  If you wish to be accommodated, please arrive as early as possible.

HEARING ASSISTANCE

A limited number of hearing aids are available.  Call the office in advance to reserve. 

SCENT FREE

Recognizing that some members of the congregation suffer from asthma and allergies, the Board has designated that Temple Emanu-El is a SCENT-FREE ZONE!

SECOND DAY ROSH HASHANAH

Please note that no tickets are required for the 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah, Tuesday, October 1 and everyone is welcome.
