Help raise funds for Ve'Ahavta.

Dear Temple Emanu-El Members,

I am very excited to be dancing with this talented group of Zumba instructors to raise money for local charities. We will be doing Zumba Gold, which is low impact, so it truly is for everybody and every body.  Check out the video below (special thanks to Kyoko Robertson for donating her amazing talent!) to see this awesome group from all over the world.

Our theme is A Brighter Future, and we are all supporting local charities that aid those marginalized by poverty and/or homelessness.  It is Sunday, January 24th at 1:30 pm Eastern Time on Zoom. 

The non-profit I am dancing for is Ve’ahavta.  Ve’ahavta is a Jewish humanitarian organization dedicated to promoting positive change in the lives of people of all faiths and backgrounds who have been marginalized by poverty and hardship. Ve’ahavta mobilizes volunteers in meaningful, hands-on experiences to fulfill our collective responsibility to care for our neighbour.    Ve’ahavta has many initiatives, one of which is a mobile outreach van that delivers hot meals, essentials and referrals to the most vulnerable in our city.

The deadline for registration is noon Saturday, January 23rd, but don’t wait as spaces are limited.
