Poetry and Song reach deeply into us. And it is no wonder: our earliest forms of communication, stories, sagas, and liturgies came about in this form. What happens when we revisit and explore our sacred texts, and ourselves, through the poetry and song of Leonard Cohen? Come enjoy these six weeks of presentations: and perhaps the deep world of Cohen's thoughts and words will create new openings in yours.

This series of lecture/discussions is offered as a spiritual growth experience by Temple Emanu-El member, Chaplain Susan Katz. Susan is a member of the Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains and the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care. She is an award-winning poet and author, as well as a musician. You can read more about her at her website, The Compassionate Oboe.
