Join us in person or on Zoom for an exciting Shabbat Shira featuring the installation of our 2023 Board of Directors and music from our Composer in Residence Program presented by the Temple Emanu-El Choir, the new Temple Emanu-El Youth Choir, and the Toronto Jewish Chorus. 

The evening will include the world premiere of Ha-Mitzvah Ha-Zot, a major new work composed by Cantor Judy Adelman Gershon. The piece was created as a gift from Pekka Sinervo to celebrate the recovery of his wife, Pat, from serious illness and to thank the congregation and all family and friends for your love and support. Don't miss this important moment in Temple Emanu-El's musical legacy.

6:00 pm:  Dinner (registration required by January 30)*
7:30 pm:  Service and Concert (no registration required) - In-Person & on Zoom

*Dinner: $20 per person - Choose between teriyaki salmon, sweet thai salmon or plain salmon (gluten-free).
Sides: Quinoa salad & green salad
Kids - $10 French toast and fresh fruit
All food will be served at room temperature.
A light oneg Shabbat dessert will be available after the service & concert

You are welcome to join us for dinner and bring your own meal. All food must be nut-free, dairy or pareve. Please register below by January 30.
