We are getting ready to harvest our second year’s crop of edible, Biblical herbs from our garden, planted in memory of Jerry Kaplan. If you don’t know where the garden is, you will find it right in front of the Rabbi’s house on the south east corner of the Temple property.  

Our Biblical garden is lush and green, just waiting to be picked and dried. The smells greet the Rabbi as she leaves her house every morning.  Please stop by and swish your hand through the leaves to enjoy the smells of the lemon verbena, lavender, mint, chamomile, sage and marjoram.

Write November 2nd on your calendars to join us for our TE-E Tea Party after Shabbat morning services and enjoy all our herbal teas as well as pastries using the herbs.
