The World-Wide COVID-19 Pandemic has touched each one of us. What happens when we shift away from the rhetoric of ‘These Unprecedented Times’ and look instead to our Jewish sacred texts and teachings about health, illness, and caring for the sick? Come enjoy these five weeks of multimedia presentations, and perhaps the experiences and wisdom gifted to us by our Sages will pave your road ahead with structure and comfort.

This 5 week series of lecture/discussions is offered as a spiritual growth experience by Temple Emanu-El member, Chaplain Susan Katz. A member of the Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains and the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care, Susan has served in hospitals, prisons, synagogues, and on deployment with the American Red Cross. Susan is also an award-winning writer and musician. You can read more about her at her website, The Compassionate Oboe.

All are welcome. Free for Temple Emanu-El members. $36 for non-members. Registration required. Please use the form below to register by June 2 (you do not need to login to register). Please note: Sessions will NOT be recorded.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
