Join Temple members Fabio & Andre Sena
for a fun and energetic 30 minute samba music and dance workshop! 
Bring a bottle of water, and wear light comfortable clothing.

Fabio will guide you through some simple and fundamental steps in samba,
to Brazilian melodies provided by Andre.
Please note: this workshop is for individual persons; no couple or ballroom dance will be taught.

Fabio Sena graduated from Contemporary Dance at Angel Vianna Dance College in Rio de Janeiro. He taught classic ballet at many studios in that city and had a career in ballet from 2000 to 2018. In 2018, having worked with many samba groups and carnival performances, he began his career as a choreographer in Brazil. Fabio is now an Assistant Choreographer at the Newton Moraes Dance Theatre in Toronto.

Andre Sena has been singing in various choirs since 2001, including the Altivoz Choir at Rio de Janeiro State University; a group specializing in Brazilian folk and popular repetoire. Andre started singing with the Toronto Jewish Chorus and the Temple Emanu-El choir in August 2019. Fabio and Andre proudly joined Temple Emanu-El as members in February 2020.
