Purim Extravaganza Video

Enjoy Anytime!
It was a dark time for the Jews, but we persevered, and our people once again thrived. No, not Purim, we're talking about COVID. One silver lining of 2021 was this great video that retells the Purim story with music, humour, and guest appearances by your fellow Emanu-Elniks. It's great for kids and children at heart. Watch anytime HERE.

Matanot La-Evyonim

Alongside the Purim tradition of Mishloach Manot is the social justice tradition of supporting the poor through Matanot La-Evyonim (gifts for those in need). Here are two opportunities to help:

FOOD DRIVE: Our Temple Emanu-El Social Action Committee will be collecting non-perishable Kosher for Passover food for people in need. If you plan to join us for any of our Purim programs or services, please bring a food item to donate.

The National Council of Jewish Women has specifically asked for the following items. They must be kosher for Passover 2024:

Passover Tam Tam Crackers
Applesauce
Matzah meal
Potato Pancake mix
Chicken soup & matzah ball mix
Tuna
Candy and chocolate
Financial contributions are also accepted and much appreciated.

You can also send Purim ecards to your friends and family right now and help raise funds for Leket Israel's important work of feeding Israelis in need. Learn more HERE.

Last-minute updates to our schedule due to inclement weather or other factors are HERE.
